Women of Purpose in Malawi is a registered NGO in Malawi and is an outreach of Debbie Banda Ministries International. Our current programs include: scholarships for girls in high school all the way to University level, supporting orphans, and widows by providing them with food, clothing and medical assistance. We have also been working with 2 schools in Kasungu and Njewa areas since 2013 by providing school supplies and clothing to the students. We currently have 10 girl students from Malingunde area who are our scholarship recipients. We also provide to them private housing, food and other supplies as needed on a monthly basis. We have orphans in the Njewa and Blantyre areas who are in our program and we are in the process of opening a thrift store to raise money on a monthly basis to assist with feeding of the orphans.
